Belmont Hall houses over 500 students in three wings, which are joined by a large main lobby. All rooms in Belmont Hall are designed for double occupancy, however some are designated as single rooms. Belmont's Recreation area includes a court for volleyball, basketball, four-square, and dodgeball. Students congregate in the common area to watch the big screen television, shoot pool, or take a studybreak by the fireplace.
Rooms are approximately 12 feet by 13 feet in size. Each room contains two extra long twin beds, two desks, two bookshelves, and two desk chairs. Each floor houses approximately 50 students including one resident assistant. Students on each floor will share a community bathroom; there is one for men and one for women. Custodial services are provided for the bathrooms, hallways, lounges, and recreation areas.
The main lobby serves as a gathering area and has a flat-screen television, pool table, and air hockey table. The Office of Residence Life and Housing is located off of the main lobby level. A community kitchen, computer lab, and student mailroom are located adjacent to the main lobby. The lower level of the commons area consists of a recreation area (including a court for volleyball and basketball), the Fireplace Room, study lounge, and laundry facilities.
