General Information
The Office of Residence Life and Housing currently operates 2 onsite residence halls, Belmont Hall and Crestone Hall; with an additional two residence halls slated to be opened for the 2010/2011 academic year.
Belmont Hall
Belmont Hall houses over 500 students in three wings, which are joined by a large main lobby. All rooms in Belmont Hall are designed for double occupancy. Rooms are approximately 12 feet by 13 feet in size. Each room contains two extra long twin beds, two desks, two bookshelves, and two desk chairs. Each floor houses approximately 50 students including one resident assistant. Students on each floor will share a community bathroom; there is one for men and one for women. Custodial Services are provided for the bathrooms, hallways, lounges, and recreation areas.
The main lobby serves as a gathering area and has a flat-screen television, pool table, and air hockey table. The Office of Residence Life and Housing is located off of the main lobby level. A community kitchen, computer lab, and student mailroom are located adjacent to the main lobby. The lower level of the commons area consists of a recreation area (including a court for volleyball and basketball), the Fireplace Room, a weightlifting gym, study lounge, and laundry facilities. The front desk is staffed 24-hours by a student staff.
Crestone Hall
Crestone Hall houses 253 students in two wings. The rooms in Crestone Hall are suite style, offering share bathrooms in each suite. The standard room in Crestone Hall is the Double Room (suite) with a shared bath room; these rooms are double occupancy and will share a bathroom with another double room. Each Double Room contains two extra long twin beds, two desks, two dressers, and two desk chairs. Lounges are located at the end of each floor and offer stunning views of the surrounding area. Students are responsible for cleaning their rooms and bathrooms. Custodial Services are provided for the common areas in Crestone Hall.
The main lobby of Crestone Hall offers a gathering area and a flat-screen television. Connected to the main lobby is a computer lab, a warming kitchen, laundry facilities, and a classroom. A front desk is operated 24-hours by a student staff.
Future Housing
Two 253 bed residence halls are currently under construction and is scheduled to be opened for the 2010/2011 academic year as phase 2 of Colorado State University-Pueblo's housing project.
