Colorado State University - Pueblo hosts The Running Dead Know obstacle course
PUEBLO – On Wednesday, April 17, dozens of Colorado State University-Pueblo students will attempt to make it home safely by running a gauntlet of obstacles and zombies. The roughly 1.5 kilometer obstacle course event is part of the “Even Zombies Know” campaign, a project of CSU-Pueblo and funded through Colorado’s Persistent Drunk Driver committee. The campaign is a three-year effort to reduce impaired driving and promote responsible choices about alcohol and drugs on the CSU-Pueblo campus.
Branded as “Even Zombies Know” the campaign has used the popular characters to send the message that choosing to avoid dangerous and often illegal situations brought on by alcohol and drugs, should be a “no-brainer” for college students. The obstacle course event, “The Running Dead Know,” will provide a fun, visual, and interactive way to engage students while reminding them of the campaign’s important messages.
