Colorado State University - Pueblo forensics team to benefit from book fair

PUEBLO – Colorado State University-Pueblo’s newly revived forensics program will benefit from a book fair this Saturday (March 2) at Barnes & Noble Bookseller, 4300 N. Freeway St.

The event follows the team’s successful participation at the Great Salt Lake Invitational/Long Beach Classic tournament at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City in January. During the book fair, team members will read stories to children and conduct a debate and impromptu speeches. The community is encouraged to support the team by making a purchase.

All purchases require mentioning the CSU-Pueblo Forensics Team or by issuing a voucher for the program available in the English Department Office, or from Danny Iberri-Shea, speech communications lecturer at CSU-Pueblo, at daniel.iberrishea@colostate-pueblo.edu. Online or in-store sales also can be made by providing the code number 11050721.

Barnes & Noble will extend the book fair offer for online purchases until March 7 if the March 2 event is canceled. Just be sure to enter the code number at the point of purchase. The in-store book fair applies to any Barnes & Noble Bookseller location or online site as long as the code is provided. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the team.
