Colorado State University - Pueblo Alumni Association hosts Basketball Reception

PUEBLO – The Colorado State University – Pueblo Alumni Association will host a reception for alumni and their families prior to the Take a Kid to a Game basketball festivities on Saturday, February 2 when the ThunderWolves take on Western New Mexico. The women’s tipoff is at 5:30 p.m., with the men’s game to follow at 7:30 p.m.

The reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Massari Arena Wolf Pack Room.  Complimentary refreshments will be served; a special discount price of $2 each for up to 5 general admission tickets to the games will apply for alumni.  (Purchaser must present coupon which is available by calling 549-2858 to receive discount.) GEICO is the sponsor of the alumni reception.

The reception will be held as part of a “Take a Kid to the Game” night, sponsored by Cold Stone Creamery, which offers kids 12 and under a free general admission ticket and the opportunity to experience the college game-day atmosphere. In addition to the games, a Kid’s Fun Zone, including a coloring and poster station, prize giveaways, and an autograph session with the basketball teams are included. Denver Nuggets mascot Rocky as well as SpongeBob SquarePants  also will entertain and be available for photographs.
