Colorado State University - Pueblo Alumni Association Announces New Board Members
PUEBLO – The Colorado State University-Pueblo Alumni Association has announced its board of directors for 2012-13. The Alumni Association enhances the relationship among alumni, the university and the community.
Chad Heberly, a 2004 graduate in economics and business management, will serve as board president. Heberly is a reserve field manager with Farmers Insurance. Joining Heberly on the executive committee are: Mark Gazette, A92, vice-president, director of facilities management with Pueblo City Schools; Lydia Martinez, A09, treasurer, team manager with the Pueblo Service Center of State Farm Insurance; and Matt Centner, A02, at-large representative, account executive with Comcast Spotlight.
The Alumni Board is comprised of volunteers with diverse backgrounds and fields of expertise. Other board members returning this year are: Abbey Algiene-Esquibel, A95 & A02, middle school language arts teacher at St. Therese Catholic School; Lana Brumfield, A09, assistant professor of nursing at CSU-Pueblo; Mark Gregory, A89, agent with Mark Gregory Insurance Agency Inc./State Farm Insurance; Judy Hildner, A70, sports editor at The Pueblo Chieftain; Sandy Romero, A85, communications manager with Bechtel; Dr. Luis Valerio, A68, CSU-Pueblo retiree; and Lisa Vigil, A06, admissions counselor at CSU-Pueblo. Also returning to the board is Andrew Ritterling, a CSU-Pueblo business management/business administration major, who serves as a student representative on behalf of the President’s Leadership Program.
A new addition to this year’s alumni board is Jennifer Mravich, A08 & A10, vice president of marketing with Power Credit Union.
