Artist “The Poet Spiel” Presents Exhibit, Lecture at Colorado State University-Pueblo
PUEBLO – Internationally published, Pueblo-based artist The Poet Spiel (a.k.a. Tom Taylor and Thoss W. Taylor) will present a comprehensive range of paintings and installations through January 18, 2013 in Colorado State University-Pueblo’s Fine Art Gallery.
He will present a brown bag lunch lecture, “Voices: A Retrospective,” from noon – 1 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, Nov. 15). Spiel has reached international acclaim with his life’s work, which ranges from 1948 to 2012. He is also an independent press writer. Spiel’s work has been featured in dozens of solo exhibitions in museums, private galleries, and museums across the country. The Poet Spiel publishes his work under the names of Tom Taylor and Thoss W. Taylor as well.
