Colorado State University - Pueblo sponsors math, science nights for students, families
PUEBLO – The College of Engineering, Education, and Professional Programs and the College of Science and Mathematics at Colorado State University-Pueblo will co-host a Family Math and Science Night for elementary and middle school students and their families from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 17 at Central High School, 216 Orman St.
Students and families will participate in a range of math and science demonstrations and activities, including roller coaster engineering, telescope and microscope drills, rockets, cool chemistry, electricity demonstrations, magnets, math games, and more. All activities are free to participants. Food and prizes also are included.
The evening is sponsored jointly by the faculty and students of CSU-Pueblo. Funding for the evening has been provided by a grant from the Packard Foundation. For more information, contact the Teacher Education Program at 719-549-2681.
