Colorado State University - Pueblo hosts prospective students, parents at Discover Day

PUEBLO – More than 120 new first-year and transfer students and their parents from Arizona, Kansas, New Mexico and all over Colorado will take their first steps to enroll for the Fall 2013 semester at Colorado State University-Pueblo as part of Discover CSU-Pueblo Visit Day on Friday (Nov. 2). 

Students will receive a campus tour, learn about the admissions and financial aid processes, and explore student services and opportunities available at CSU-Pueblo, including the Honor’s Program and the President’s Leadership Program. Participants also will attend an academic information session to learn more about the specific requirements of that particular major and to meet their first-year advisor. Question and answer panels will be held both for students and parents. A special session will be held for transfer students. 

After a welcome by President Lesley Di Mare, morning activities will feature a performance by the cheerleaders. Student also will have an opportunity to explore a variety of campus and student organizations as part of their lunch hour.

Check in begins at 8:30 a.m. in the Occhiato University Center with events running through 2 p.m.
