Colorado State University - Pueblo features notable speakers for  water resources series

PUEBLO – A host of local experts on water in addition to notable speakers like Colorado Supreme Court Judge Gregory Hobbs are scheduled to appear at Colorado State University-Pueblo as part of the Colorado Water 2012 ( event series this spring. 

The sessions will be held from 3-4:20 p.m. each Wednesday during the spring semester in the Library and Academic Resource Center 109.

Below is the list of speakers that remain this semester.

March 14​ ​Justice Gregory Hobbs ​Colorado State Supreme Court (speaking on his latest book, Living the Four Corners)
​March 21 ​Mr. Scott Lorenz ​General Manager, Arkansas Groundwater Users Association (speaking on the interplay between groundwater and surface water management)
​March 28 ​No lecture ​CSU-Pueblo Spring Break
​April 4 ​Mr. Larry Small ​General Manager of the Fountain Creek Watershed, Flood Control, and Greenway District (speaking on restoration principles)
​April 11 ​Mr. Reed Dils ​Co-founder of the Arkansas River Headwaters Recreation Area (speaking on the voluntary flow program for rafting and fishing the Upper Arkansas River)
​April 18 ​Mr. Peter Binney ​Mr. Peter Binney, Director of Sustainable Planning for Black and Veatch and namesake of the state-of-the-art Peter D. Binney Water Purification Facility
