Colorado State University - Pueblo Alumni Association hosts Basketball Reception

PUEBLO –The Colorado State University – Pueblo Alumni Association will host a reception for alumni and their families prior to the Take a Kid to a Game basketball festivities on Saturday, January 29 as the ThunderWolves take on Western New Mexico. The game and reception also will feature an appearance by Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob Squarepants.

Children 12 and under will receive free general admission with parents at $5 per person admission. All fans will be entered to win an Xbox 360 console with Kinect. Participants can pal around and get photographs and autographs of the popular television character, SpongeBob, who also will perform at halftime of each game. In addition to the games that evening, a Kid’s Fun Zone including a coloring and poster station, prize giveaways, and an autograph session with each basketball team. SpongeBob will appear at the reception at 7 p.m. Women’s tipoff is at 6 p.m. with the men to follow at 8 p.m. The reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Massari Arena Wolf Pack Room.  Complimentary refreshments will be served; a special discount price of $2 each for up to 5 general admission tickets to the games will apply for alumni.  (Purchaser must present coupon which is available by calling 549-2858 to receive discount.)
