Colorado State University – Pueblo’s Classified Staff Council’s first Arts & Crafts Fair

PUEBLO – Colorado State University-Pueblo’s Classified Staff Council will host its inaugural Arts and Craft Fair to raise dollars for its Classified Employee Scholarship Fund from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., on October 9 in the Occhiato University Center Ballroom. Vendors will feature a variety of items ranging from handmade pens, quilts, personalized rice jewelry, holiday craft items, aprons, and spice packets to hunting, tactical, kitchen, and pocket knives.

Proceeds from the vendor rental supports the Classified Staff Council’s Student Scholarship Fund, which provides four, $1,000 scholarships annually to students who meet affiliation and minimum grade point average requirements. The Classified Staff Council provides other benefits to State Personnel System employees at CSU – Pueblo to better serve the University and the State of Colorado. Additionally, the free event also will offer breakfast and lunch at a nominal fee as well as random drawings throughout the day with items donated by vendors and proceeds benefitting the scholarship fund. Tickets for those drawings will be .25 each or five for $1.
