Colorado State University - Pueblo Alumni Association to host three events

PUEBLO – The Colorado State University-Pueblo Alumni Association will gather over the next few weeks at a baseball game, rodeo, and the opening of the ThunderWolf football season -- to nurture relationships between graduates, the community, and the University.

Tickets remain for this Sunday’s CSU-Pueblo Alumni Day at the Colorado Springs Sky Sox beginning at 1:05 p.m. on Sunday, August 29 at Security Service Field in Colorado Springs.
Tickets are $15 per person and include a box seat, hot dog, chips and soft drink, and a parking pass (children 2 and under do not need a ticket). Don’t forget to wear your CSU-Pueblo gear!

As part of the 11-day Colorado State Fair, the Alumni Associations of both CSU-Pueblo and CSU-Fort Collins will co-host CSU System Night at the Colorado State Fair beginning with a reception at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, August 31. The reception and tour of the new Colorado State University Building (formerly the Natural Resources Building just inside Gate 2) will be followed by premium seating near the chutes at the PRCA rodeo, scheduled for 7 p.m. Tickets for the reception and rodeo are $5 per person, which includes gate admission to the Colorado State Fair.

On Saturday, Sept. 4, the CSU-Pueblo Alumni Association will join forces with Friends of Football to sponsor a tailgate party in advance of the ThunderWolves opening home contest versus Northwestern Oklahoma State at the Neta and Eddie DeRose ThunderBowl. Tailgate will begin at 4:30 p.m. and will include food and drinks for $5 per person.  KPHT 95.5 will broadcast live from the event. Kickoff for the football game is 6 p.m.

Tickets for the baseball game and rodeo must be reserved and paid in advance by RSVPing to Director of Alumni Relations Tracy Samora at 719-549-2858 or e-mailing alumni@colostate-pueblo.edu. The tailgate party is open to alumni and community alike.
