Colorado State University-Pueblo will host national award winning oil painter Teresa Vito as she offers a workshop on Plein Air Painting, April 9-11. She will host a public lecture from 5-6 p.m. on Friday, April 9 in Art/Music 105. Learn about the easiest equipment to pack and the fundamentals of painting a quick outdoor sketch on location. She will emphasize the simplification of buildings into shapes of value and color. She will demonstrate on Saturday morning and teach one on one as participants paint for the rest of the workshop.
Participants can earn one hour of credit, ART491, by enrolling in the weekend workshop. Sessions will be held from 3-6 p.m. on Friday (April 9), 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday (April 10), and noon-5 p.m. on Sunday (April 11) at locations on campus and in downtown Pueblo.
