Colorado State University - Pueblo hosts first annual Gospel Explosion on February 5

The Black Student Organization at Colorado State University-Pueblo will sponsor the First Annual Gospel Explosion to kick off Black History Month on Friday with choirs, praise dancers, and soloists from all over Southern Colorado.

The event begins at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 5 in Hoag Recital Hall. Tickets are $5 per person with 10 percent of proceeds benefitting the Haiti Relief Fund. Donations also will be accepted.
The event is FREE to students and any child 10 and under.

Among the performers will be choirs from six area churches –New Hope Baptist Church, Emmanuel Baptist Church, New Jerusalem Baptist Church, True Spirit Baptist Church, Friendship Baptist Church, Southern District Young People’s Choir and four praise dance and solo performances from True Spirit, New Hope, Friendship, and Colorado State University-Pueblo.
