Colorado State University- Pueblo was selected as one of only 75 schools nationally and the only school in Colorado to be named a GEICO Achievement Award School for 2010. The award enables CSU-Pueblo students who qualify to be eligible for up to $75,000 in $1,000 scholarships next year.
GEICO will present more than $75,000 ($1,000 increments) Achievement Awards to college students across the country. GEICO will list CSU-Pueblo as an Achievement Award school on its website beginning Aug. 15. The university selections are based on a number of factors, including recruiter recommendations, the caliber and quality of students, rankings, business school/business programs, HSI/HBCU designation, interview/hire ratios, and relationship/rapport.
Sophomores or juniors attending an accredited college or university, who possess a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better, and who have demonstrated leadership on campus or within their community are eligible. Eligible students must major in business, computer science, mathematics or related fields (Automotive Industry Management). International students are eligible to apply.
