To wrap up Black History Month, four headliners (Vince Morris, BT, Billy D. Washington, and Louis Johnson) will chip at the walls of racial and social stereotypes one joke at a time during a production called
S.E.L.L. Out, beginning at 8 p.m. on
Feb. 25 in Hoag Recital Hall in the Art/Music Building. They call themselves the BlackPack and can be found online at: Myspace.com/blackpack.
The title references that some point in their careers. . .each of them have been accused of not being true to their heritage .. their culture..and their profession. Too Black for one venue. Not Black enough for another. But, funny is funny. Sell out is here to celebrate individualism. Their motto: Be Yourself. Because everyone else is already taken. These comedians have been featured on: HBO, Comedy Central, CBS, NBC, A&E, Showtime, UPN, MTV, ESPN, VH1, FOX & B.E.T.
