Proceeds from a car show this month will benefit the Automotive Industry Management (AIM) program at Colorado State University-Pueblo. The car show will be held from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 20 in the parking lot east of the Technology Building. Attendance at the car show is free, but participants showing cars will be required to pay an entry fee to be eligible for prizes.
According to AIM faculty member Cathi Robbe, all funds raised will go towards a new vehicle lift, tools, and equipment for the program. The Automotive Industry Management program provides students with a broad range of management, business and technical skills applicable to the automotive parts and service industries.
A variety of activities will be held during the car show to raise money, including a Car Bash for contestants to release stress, a pie throw event for children, adults and competitors, as well as a concession stand to satisfy all hungers and thirsts.
The Car Show will have numerous categories and prizes, with winners being selected by attendees. Prizes will be awarded at 3 p.m.
