Thanks to the generosity of KR Swerdfeger Construction, 75 area children in 8th grade and below will be allowed to take part in Walk with the Wolves during the fifth annual Farmers Insurance Walk for Athletics and James “Spank” Blasing Memorial 5K, scheduled for April 21 on the campus of Colorado State University - Pueblo.
The first 75 students in 8th grade and under to register with a paid adult will be allowed to take part in the Walk with the Wolves program. If more then 75 students enroll, the additional students will be charged a minimal $5 fee to participate.
The Walk with the Wolves program matches CSU-Pueblo student-athletes and coaches, with the students to walk the 5K course. Walk with the Wolves participants will be allowed to spend time during the Walk to discuss ThunderWolves athletics, their favorite sport, and what it takes to be a college student-athlete with CSU-Pueblo student-athletes and coaches. Each walker will receive a free t-shirt and water bottle, along with a complimentary post-walk breakfast.
The adult entry fee for the Farmers Insurance Walk for Athletics and James “Spank” Blasing Memorial 5K is $25 per person.
