Characterization of Magnetic Materials

Methods, both static and dynamic, used for the characterization of magnetic materials, especially thin films will be discussed. These methods include magnetic force microscopy, magnetometry, and ferromagnetic resonance, among others. A correlation between the structural and magnetic properties of hexagonal ferrites films will be illustrated, including the discussion of how these materials can be used in microwave devices.
