Graduation Checklist

Congratulations on completing your degree at CSU-Pueblo! Below is some information to help you wrap up your studies at CSU-Pueblo and get you through the commencement ceremony. You can also PDF Icondownload the form.

  • Submit Your Graduation Planning Sheet

    Deadline for Spring 2015 is 10/10/14, Summer 2015 is 1/30/15

    Verify that your graduation planning sheets for your college are signed and turned in on time. Check with your major department, or refer to the T-Wolf Portal/Academic Calendar at this link for planning sheet deadline dates.

  • Clear Your Records

    Incomplete grades can stop your graduation progress. Your professor must clear them before graduation deadlines. For questions regarding Fall, Spring, or Summer deadlines for graduation, contact the Graduation Evaluation Office located in the Registrar's Office, ADM 202.

  • Complete Your Federal Student Loan Exit Counseling at

    If you’ve ever obtained a student loan while attending any institution, you must complete loan exit counseling. You should access your official record on the National Student Loan Data System at Exit counseling is required and must be completed before you receive your diploma or official transcript(s). Contact Financial Aid with any questions via e-mail at, in person at ADM 212, or call 719.549.2753.

  • Complete the Graduation Survey

    Each graduate of CSU-Pueblo is required to complete the Graduation Survey on his/her PAWS account. The survey will show up on your account after you have turned in your Graduation Planning Sheet.

  • Take Care of Any Financial Obligations Before Graduation

    Check your PAWS account frequently to access any financial obligations you might have, including parking tickets, fees, etc. These fees must be paid with the Cashier in the ADM 204 or call 719.549.2131 with questions.

  • Attend the Graduation Fair

    Plan to attend the 2015 Graduation Fair on March 3-4 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the CSU-Pueblo Bookstore or at the CSU-Pueblo Colorado Springs Tower Location, 2863 South Circle Drive, Suite 200, on March 2, from 3 to 6 p.m. Orders will be taken for your cap and gown, graduation announcements, diploma frame, and class ring.   • RSVP for Commencement – Deadline is 4/24/15

    Details about Commencement and the actual ceremony are coordinated by the Office of External Affairs. Confirm your participation in the ceremony at the Grad Fair on March 10-12, online at, or by calling the Office of External Affairs at 719.549.2284.

  • Update Your Permanent Address

    You must update your permanent address or diploma destination information in PAWS to ensure you receive your diploma packet. Additionally, update your address with anyone who sends you a bill. This can include your bank, cell phone provider, your loan companies, and your credit card companies.

  • Stop By the Career Center

    Check in with the Career Center, even if it just means getting a login and password. The Career Center offers an online job database system and other resources after graduation. Contact the Career Center for help writing your résumé and other career related coaching. The Career Center is located in LARC 187, 719.549.2980.

  • Become An Alum

    Stay connected to your alma mater through the CSU-Pueblo Alumni Association. There are no membership dues to be part of the Alumni Association. Leave a forwarding address and current e-mail address for future communications and for information regarding the benefits of being an alumnus. Contact the Alumni Office at 719.549.2858 or visit OUC 111.

  • Get a Copy of Your Transcripts

    Be sure to grab a few copies of your transcripts. Having a few extra with you will save you a lot of time, money, and trouble. Official transcripts can be requested from the Registrar's Office, ADM 202. You can also view/print your unofficial transcript or complete the official online transcript request form by logging in to your PAWS account.

  • Register for SALT

  • Get Contact Information for Your References

    Knowing where your references will be over the next few months, as well as how to reach them, may make or break you in certain situations. A quick email, phone call, or office visit to ensure you have everyone’s contact information is a smart idea.

  • Write Thank You Notes

    It may seem old fashioned, but writing thank you notes to those who helped you the most during your time on campus, to those who gave you graduation gifts, and to anyone else who helped you along the way is a kind gesture and a great way to make sure you leave college on a high note.
