Noelle Clark - S4S (Students for Students)
Why are you interested in the position you are seeking?
I want to be involved in the campus community and help enrich students’ experiences. College is an once-in-a-lifetime experience for all of us; I want to help to make it the best and most profitable it can possibly be. I want to enhance campus life in all areas, especially in promoting diversity and encouraging academic achievement. I would like to see and influence change on campus and represent the student body.
I am currently the Peer Mentor for the History, Political Science, & Philosophy and English TRAC’s in the residence halls. I also serve as secretary of the CSU-Pueblo International Students Association. I am also a part of the President’s Leadership Program, which requires me to take on leadership roles within the campus and wider community including leading and taking part in community service activities. I also volunteer as a Student Ambassador, giving campus tours to prospective students.
While serving as Senator At-Large, I will work with students to enhance student life, experiences, and opportunities. I will work to better issues such as the food, housing, security, and relations between faculty and students. I want to increase student involvement on campus by addressing students’ comments, complaints, and concerns in order to give them a voice.
I have maintained a 3.98 GPA in college and was invited to join Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society. Also, I received the International Baccalaureate diploma following my completion of the program.
I am involved in both the President’s Leadership Program and the Honors Program on campus. I am also a part of the Political Science Club and the CSU-Pueblo International Students Association. In addition, I am a member of the newly formed community Rotaract Club. I am also a part of the TRAC program in the residence hall and volunteer as a Student Ambassador through the Visitor and Transfer Center.
